I have 17 years of riding experience and have competed internationally. I have been
training horses for the past 5 years, working in California and now in the greater
Portland/Vancouver area. My experience riding, training and competing all breeds, in
many disciplines, has taught me the tremendous value of Dressage. I have studied the
development of the horses physique and suppleness to improve the natural gaits,
rhythm, submission, impulsion and straightness. I have accumulated many different
training techniques and am prepared to work with any type of horse. I strive to improve
all horses and riders by using a combination of training systems that compliment each
horses individual training needs. My training background includes Eventing, USDF
dressage, A-circuit Hunters and Jumpers, Arabian show horses, and prepare horses
for presentation at Breed association Keurings/Inspections. I also train horses for a
Police mounted patrol, and train 9 talented mustangs in dressage and other
disciplines. Although young in years, I am certainly not short on experience. My interest
and priority in building a strong foundation insures a successful experience for anyone
who works with me. With a passion for a balanced, happy horse I will not limit the
horse to just arena work. Trails, cavaletti, cross country jumping if desired, lunging &
long lining will mingle with your horses dressage workouts. I have trained my own
horses from the ground up along with working with horses other trainers had dubbed
“broken” to become lovely show horses. I start young horses correctly and kindly, and
also teach ground work and free jumping. I am also a competitive rider, competing
usually in several disciplines each show season. My ability to work with all breeds,
disciplines and temperaments makes me an unusual and important resource in our
community.

I train free jumping and prepare horses for in hand shows and
breed inspections.
